Buenos Aires
Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, is the country's largest city, set on the southern shore of the Río de la Plata estuary. In 2022 it had over 3 million inhabitants, with almost 14 million across the Greater Buenos Aires conurbation. It is a financial, commercial and cultural centre with numerous museums and theatres, including the celebrated Teatro Colón. Its temperate climate, with warm summers and mild winters, makes it appealing all year round. The city combines a historic core with modern architecture, offering a wide range of attractions.
